This is the 8th consecutive time that C.O.P.S. has earned this top distinction. Only 5% of charities that CN evaluates have received at least eight consecutive 4-star evaluations.

Alabama Concerns of Police Survivors

Alabama Concerns of Police Survivors is a non-profit organization, which provides resources to assist in the rebuilding of the lives of surviving families of law enforcement officers killed in the line-of-duty as determined by Federal criteria. Alabama C.O.P.S. serves all of Alabama in providing emotional and financial support as well as legal assistance to survivors of fallen officers.


Alabama Concerns of Police Survivors responds after line-of-duty deaths to support the surviving family members. We offer support as long as needed to all survivors. Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a years, support is just a phone call away.


Alabama Concerns of Police Survivors is a state chapter of the national organization and is dependent on charitable donations and fundraisers. Alabama C.O.P.S. is a 501(c)(3) organization and donations are tax deductible according to current IRS regulations. Alabama C.O.P.S. does not use telemarketers or phone solicitation at any time or in any way! Alabama C.O.P.S. has no overhead or administrative costs and is totally dependent on contributions and fundraisers. All contributions directly benefit the families of fallen law enforcement officers in Alabama.
